The Modello Roma 75. is sometimes mistaken for the M65 parka with its utilitarian and practical style.
In the late 1960s. the Italian army turned to the M1955 uniform for their primary battle attire. However. with the new decade came the need for a modern update. leading to the creation of the iconic Modello Roma 75 in 1971. This resourceful uniform quickly became the standard choice for the Italian army. maintaining its status well into the 1990s. The esteemed Italian manufacturers Cotonificio (cotton mill) Rossi Vicenza and Manifatture Cotoniere Meridionali were responsible for producing the Modello Roma 75.
A classic vintage military style. featuring a small star insignia on the collar. button down chest and hip pockets. buttoned cuffs. epaulettes. ventilated underarms. and a hook and loop patch situated above the right chest pocket.
